About Caravan

Caravan Outdoor Events is based in Austin, TX, and was dreamed up in July 2020. Caravan was designed in response to the need, especially in light of COVID-19, for intimate groups of friends and family to be able to gather and enjoy time together outdoors. We call ourselves Caravan because we are just that: people traveling and marking the milestones of our journey together.

Caravan was created by Erin Siple. Erin is passionate about design and the outdoors, but even more so about fostering connections (especially over a cheese board). Her design style is strongly influenced by the two places she calls home: the warm and expansive fields of Texas, and the rugged beaches of central California. Erin is also a registered yoga instructor, a surfer, and a red wine enthusiast.
